Muslim-Jewish Christmas (MJC) is aimed at creating a unique opportunity for mosques and synagogues nationwide to come together on Christmas Eve. This initiative seeks to foster meaningful interfaith dialogue, build relationships, and engage in joint activities that address pressing needs in our local communities.
For 14 years, the MJC has brought together Muslims and Jews (and others of faith) around Houston to break bread, laugh, cry, and learn from one another. The goal of this event has always been very simple—to come together on a day when we have no other commitments and discuss our similarities and differences regarding a specific theme. You don’t need to be a scholar to discuss your views. You just need to be able to voice your opinions with honesty and compassion and have the ability to listen to another side.
