Angels and Messengers

Those in power will not divide us by our similarities but by our differences. Angels & Messengers is a three-part series of fireside chats that challenge conventional thinking and foster deeper understanding among our faith communities by focusing on our key differences.

Unlike traditional interfaith programs that focus on commonalities, we delve into the differences and unique perspectives that may raise eyebrows. By exploring these contrasts openly and respectfully, we hope to break down stereotypes, challenge biases, and build stronger bridges of understanding.

If you’re ready to get comfortable with the uncomfortable, let’s work together to explore the nuances of Christian, Jewish, and Islamic beliefs. Through thought-provoking discussions and open dialogue, we hope to inspire a new appreciation for the rich tapestry of faiths that enrich our world.

In addition to providing communications and logistical support, we’ll work within your trifecta to tailor the program to the needs of your congregations.

Frequent Questions

Does the program cost anything to implement at my faith center?

The faith center does not incur any cost apart from hosting it. Ideally, each of the three-part series will happen at a different faith center.

What are the expectations of the participating centers?

Your venue, at least two meetings with the other clergy, and getting at least 25 people out to the event!

Will you provide marketing materials?

Yes, we’ll provide print materials, including fliers and posters, as well as social media messaging and images.

Do we have to commit to all three programs?

Yes – when congregants visit different faith centers, it helps to build bridges and excitement!

Who pays for the food?

We can share the cost, or if need be, Bridges can pick up the tab. We’ll all focus on creating the best program for our attendees, and God will provide!

Is there an opportunity to teach guests about my faith tradition?

Apart from the panel discussion, there isn’t. You’re certainly welcome to take guests on a tour of your center. The interfaith discussion’s focus is to build bridges and help inform your neighbors before others inform them!

Is there a target audience for your program?

Teenagers and up. Most of our audiences have been between 25 and 70 – it varies!

Can we work on the topics together?

Yes! It is important to tailor the topics to the needs of your congregants and region.
