From Minaret Foundation to Bridges

Written By: Board of Directors, Bridges

For years, our organization has been dedicated to the idea that our faith traditions are a source of strength, not division. When this journey began, we were Minaret Foundation. That name helped establish our reputation and bring us all together across our region through dialogue programs such as the Muslim-Jewish Christmas and Angels and Messengers. Through initiatives like Handle With Care, we’ve brought people of faith together to address children’s mental health. We honor that legacy and the light it shone. But today, our growth and our movement are shining far wider than we ever imagined.

The demand for our work has exploded with the creation of cohorts like the Mosaic Leadership Circle and requests from civic leaders asking us to convene clergy for important town meetings. We realized we hadn’t changed what we do, but we needed a name that could contain our future.

We are proud to announce that Minaret Foundation has become Bridges. Our mission remains the same: helping people of faith become better neighbors.
